Orwell Board Signs Fire Contract, Approves Spring Maintenance

PA ORWELL — Orwell Board of Supervisors approves 2026 fire contract and authorizes spring equipment bids. The supervisors signed a contract with the LeRaysville/Pike Volunteer Fire Department and, with all members present, unanimously approved prior meeting minutes and the treasurer's report. The board authorized advertising for bids on AEP/EDP oil, tar and chipping equipment, and washed stone specification number 8 and number 67, all due by May 20.
Secretary/Treasurer Mia M. Beebe reported residents have begun paying for extra dust oil service this season.
