Board approves routine road maintenance, hazard mitigation plan

PA ORWELL — The Orwell Board of Supervisors approved routine road and equipment maintenance at its March 19 meeting. All members present voted unanimously to approve prior minutes and the treasurer's report. Road work included installation of a 40-foot by 15-inch culvert on South Hill Road, rip grading of potholes, sinkhole repair on Wolfe Hill Road, and material spreading on East Cook Road and muddy areas.
Board Member John Strope will schedule a walk-through with John Newhart and the Conservation District to advance the South Hill Road dirt and gravel road project.
